手术可以治疗癫痫病，尽早手术难道不更好吗?

癫痫病改变的不仅是患者自身的生活，连带患者所在家庭的生活都会有所改变，为防止病人病情发作，家属要在生活上与患者做好相应的护理，患者还要长期服用药物维持病情稳定，这对许多不富裕的家庭也是一笔不小的花销，为此许多患者都有疑问，既然手术可以治疗癫痫病，而且治疗后效果恢复明显，那么自己的病情尽早手术难道不更好吗?这是一种不需要服用很长时间药物的方式。

现在临床上针对癫痫的治疗，除了药物治疗之外，很主要的就是手术治疗。但是并非所有的病人都可以进行外科手术，这是因为外科手术的条件比较苛刻，而且每个病人的病灶情况不同，只有符合外科手术标准的病人才建议外科手术。尽管大多数术后病人情况恢复良好，手术治疗也有很大的风险，但如果在手术过程中发生某种意外，就有可能直接危及病人的生命。因此，要想手术治疗，首先要对病人的病情进行分析。

如果病人经过长时间的药物治疗，严格按照医生的指导进行服药，机体内的药物浓度指标达标，仍然无法控制病情发作;并且病人的病变部位清楚明了，那么医生就会建议病人进行手术。在做手术之前一定要先做一次身体方面的检查，这样才能明确是不是需要做手术，然后再考虑是不是会导致患者出现严重的后遗症，比如影响到患者的语言能力、行动能力等等，如果影响到比较大的话，就不需要做手术。

而且外科治疗对医生队伍、医院设备也有较高的要求，并非任何一家医院都能为病人做外科手术，所以外科治疗要到正规、专科的医院才能有保障。从上面的分析，我们可以清楚的知道，手术治疗是有益的，但是也有风险。因此，刚确诊的病人，病情还比较轻，通过药物治疗可以治好的话，完全没必要采取危险较大的手术治疗，这也是大部分病人仍然采用药物治疗的原因。
