青少年是癫痫病的高危人群，去年中考考试中，有一名学生突然出现口吐白沫，四肢抽搐的症状，其监考老师立即向考场外民警呼救，民警及时送到医院，该考生脱离了危险，并顺利地完成了接下来的考试。考试之后，该学生到医院进行的较为详细的检查，最后被确诊为癫痫病，说起这名青少年的病因，医生初步认为是由于学习压力过大引起的，所以家长不要给孩子那么大的压力。

其实成绩并不代表全部，现在很多的家长都只关注孩子的学习成绩，使得孩子在学校、家庭的层层压力之下引发癫痫。而孩子一旦患上癫痫病，再好的学习成绩也是没用的。而且癫痫发作不做好护理是很危险的，严重的甚至导致死亡，对于大发作的癫痫患者，发作时使患者平卧，松开衣领，将头偏向一边，避免造成窒息。

而且除了学习的压力外，还有沉迷电脑游戏，青少年的癫痫发病率日趋增高。已占到癫痫门诊总量的七成之多。而且，每年中高考前夕，都是青少年癫痫的发病高峰。青少年的大脑发育尚不完善，如果精神长期处于紧张状，就容易引起脑神经细胞异常放电，出现癫痫症状。对青少年身体健康造成严重的影响。
