癫痫护理还有出现发作先兆，首先要保护好舌头，抢在发作之前，将缠有纱布的压板放在病人上、下磨牙之间，癫痫护理措施包括以免咬伤舌头，若发作之前未能放入，待病人强直期张口进再放入，阵挛期不要强行放入，以免伤害病人。

发作期使病人平卧，松开衣领，头转向一侧，以利于呼吸道分泌物及呕吐物排出，防止流入气管引起呛咳窒息。大发作时呼吸道分泌物较多，易造成呼吸道阻塞或吸入性肺炎，抽搐时口中不要塞任何东西，不要灌药，防止窒息也是癫痫护理。

痫病人应做好心理准备，同时告知家属或周围人，因为发作不可避免，有条件及时间可将病人扶至床上，来不及就顺势使其躺倒，防止意识突然丧失而跌伤，迅速移开周围硬物、锐器，减少发作时对身体的伤害都是癫痫护理。

癫痫护理还有作为家属及身边的人，应密切观察病人发病时间，每次发作持续时间要注意观察先抽搐的部位，是局部还是全身，是否伴有意识丧失及两目上视，二便失禁等，这些表现对医生进行定位诊断有一定的帮助均是癫痫护理。
