最好父母其中一个人辞去工作来接送他上下学或者进行陪读。如果父母谁都不想放弃工作，最好能够把自己的家庭住址和电话以及疾病急救措施一块写在一个小纸片上，并把它放到孩子的上衣口袋里。一旦小朋友疾病发作，也可以让其他爱心人士按照小纸片上的急救措施来帮助孩子，并能联系到孩子的家长。
