癫痫病分类一、植物神经性发作(间脑性)

癫痫病分类二、复杂部分性发作(精神运动性发作)

复杂部分性发作是指精神感觉性，精神运动性及混合性发作。这种发作类型的患者，在发作时期多有不同程度的意识障碍和明显的思维、直觉、情感以及精神运动上的障碍。必须提醒患者家属的是：这类型的病人，很可能有神游症、夜游症等自动症的表现，在幻觉、妄想等支配下很可能伤人，自伤等暴力行为。

癫痫病分类三、单纯部分性发作

这种发作类型的癫痫，患者在发病时期意识是非常清楚的。从患者身体的某一局部或者一侧的肢体强直，阵挛性发作，单纯部分性发作的患者有部分人会感觉到异常，但大都历时较短。

癫痫病分类四、失神发作(小发作)

失神发作时，患者的精神活动会突然性的中断，此时意识丧失，有时候可会伴随肌阵挛或自动症等症状，每次发作会持续数秒至十余秒不定。

癫痫病分类五、全身强直—阵挛发作(大发作)

这种发作类型主要的症状为：身体先强直，然后阵挛性痉挛，意识丧失，此时常常会伴随着尖叫。口吐白沫或血沫，瞳孔随之散大，这种状况持续十秒或数分钟后痉挛会自然的停止发作，并进入昏睡状态。待患者醒来以后，短时间内会感觉头晕、不记得发作时的事情。大多不会伤及性命，但若发作的状态持续不断的进行，并一直处于昏迷状态时，则将危及到患者的生命。
