　　1、脑电图：脑电图检查是确诊癫痫的关键步骤，也就是说脑电图检查可以帮助患者有效确诊，不论患者发作还是未发作，采取不同类型的脑电图检查，都是可以检查出来的，因此大家对于“不发作是否能确诊”的疑问，可以放心了!脑电图检查分为不同的类型，包括动态脑电图、视频脑电图、以及诱发电位脑电图等。不同的脑电图检查，对于诊断不同的疾病，都有一定的适应症。原则上讲发作期脑电图是相当有价值的一项辅助检查。

　　2、脑部CT：该检查项目虽然无法确诊癫痫，但对于观察脑部是否有其他病变、病灶等还是有很大作用的。因为癫痫脑电波异常，脑组织却没有特别的变化，所以有时候会观察不到;但若是外在因素(如脑瘤)引起的，或者病变引起的癫痫，那么脑CT还是可以检查出病灶的。对于后期医生制定治疗方案是很有帮助的。

　　3、血液化学检查：血液化学检查包括血糖、血钙、血镁、物成分等，这些因素如果异常的话，会引发癫痫频繁的发作;另一方面，可以对伴有癫痫发作的顽固性疾病提供依据，如甲状旁腺功能减退性癫痫、糖尿病癫痫等。

　　4、尿液检查：此项检查只是辅助检测，主要是排除是否是遗传因素导致的癫痫，对于某些患者来说可检查也可以不检查，主要对于病情的诊断还是要依靠临床症状以及患者反应的。但不论是任何类型的癫痫，全面的检查有时还是很有必要的。

　　5、病因检查：检查出是否是癫痫后，还要针对是何病因导致的癫痫发作，可以通过核磁共振、血尿检测等辅助检测;也可以做相应的颅脑影像检查、血糖血压测量，并且结合患者的具体情况选择相应合适的检查，可以有效排除其他无关紧要的原因。
