用药宜从小剂量开始，然后逐渐增量，以既能控制发作，又不产生毒性反应的最小有效剂量为宜。换药宜采取加用新药及递减旧药的原则。八个月查出癫痫怎么办?首先家长要知道不能骤然停药。有些器质性脑病的癫痫患者可能需要终身服药;有人主张发病年龄大于30岁者需谨慎停药，因其停药后复发率较高，需长期服药或终身服药。但仍有10%～15%患者难以控制发作，可以采用外科治疗。
