癫痫对孕妇可造成不良后果，癫痫发作可导致孕妇的妊娠并发症增多，如出现阴道流血、胎盘早剥、流产、难产、早产等，其中早产的可能性较多，严重的妊娠并发症可导致妊娠期妇女死亡。癫痫患者妊娠并发症风险增加的因素不太明确，可与孕妇的癫痫发作、药物控制情况、心理、社会因素有关。故癫痫患者妊娠分娩应咨询癫痫妊娠相关问题，选择条件较好的产房，采取引产及器械辅助分娩，以减少癫痫对其影响。

二、癫痫发作对胎儿有何影响?

癫痫发作会对胎儿产生不良影响。癫痫发作可导致围产期胎儿合并症增加，如胎儿缺氧、窒息、死亡等。尤其是强直阵挛发作易导致乳酸酯中毒，使胎儿心跳减慢，可使胎儿出现窒息、缺氧或损伤。癫痫持续状态对胎儿危害更为严重，孕妇出现癫痫持续状态时易导致胎儿畸形或死亡，死亡率高达50%。癫痫患者所产小儿畸形率比正常所产小儿高2-3倍，可能与癫痫发作本身或服用抗癫痫药物有关。
