3、颅内肿瘤：这是30岁以后发生癫痫的常见原因，除脑外伤外，脑肿瘤也是癫痫病因，特别是迟缓生长的胶质瘤、脑膜瘤、星形细胞瘤等。

4、脑血管病：除血管畸形产生癫痫发作时年龄较轻外，脑血管病癫痫多见于中、老年人。出血性及缺血性脑血管病，也是癫痫的病因。

5、中毒：一氧化碳、铅、汞、乙醇等中毒，以及全身性疾病如肝性脑病、高血压综合征、急进性肾炎、尿毒症等，也是癫痫病因。
